EXTENSION OF THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF PAPERS UNTIL MARCH 7

Dear colleagues:
The Spanish Phlebology and Lymphology Chapter will hold its 30th National Congress from 26 to 28 April 2023 in Vigo. Our Congress will be held in parallel with the 5th edition of the Iberian Phlebology Congress, organized jointly with the Portuguese Society of Angiology and Vascular Surgery, which means it has been certified as an international congress.
As in previous years, the first day of the Congress will be dedicated to our Sclerotherapy Course, which will be hosting its 11th edition. This year we shall also be offering a course on ulcers and a course on the treatment of lymphedema.
This year’s Congress will have a truly international character. We have scheduled a joint session with the International Union of Phlebology and with the Pan American Phlebology and Lymphology Society, which SCPLL has recently joined as a full member.
The Congress’ scientific program is extremely attractive. Although the Congress will last only two days, there will be time to consider the controversies and discuss the latest developments around VTED and CVD in a series of panels and debate sessions with leading national and international experts.
As every year, SCPL will be presenting its major awards to the best paper and best poster. The Alberto Masegosa Award to the best paper on venous disorders has positioned itself in the last few years as one of the most prestigious awards in the field.
The company in charge of the technical secretariat, Congresos XXI, the Organizing Committee and the Angiology and Vascular Surgery Department of Vigo’s Álvaro Cunqueiro Hospital have gone to great lengths to make sure that you enjoy not only the Congress but also your stay in Vigo.
See you all in Vigo!
Kindest regards,
